Just before Thanksgiving 2014, our lives were forever changed when our youngest of 4 children, Trucker Dukes was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. He was 19 months old at the time. Since then he has been through multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, life threatening surgeries, and various trials trying to rid his little body of this horrible disease. Just before Thanksgiving 2015 almost a year exactly after he was originally diagnosed he relapsed in his brain. The new tumor was successfully removed from his head and we are currently on one of the only trials for brain relapse at Sloan Kettering in New York City. When someone in your family gets cancer, everyone gets cancer so although my husband and the rest of our children are home in Maui, we are all making great sacrifices to get Trucker the best care, and hopefully to save his life! Thank you times a million for caring and supporting us in any way you can through the hardest thing we have ever done!
